Alex O’Neill is CODE’s Professional Service Manager and the Head of Compliance at iComply, leading the team on compliance consultancy, researching regulatory changes, creating templates and delivering CODE seminars. He is an experienced business coach and consultant and has advised a range of practices on the best strategies to achieve their goals.
Karen Penfold is the Head of HR for CODE. She has a busy role managing the Total HR service and team, providing daily HR advice and support to CODE’s member base of more than 3,000 practices. With additional skills and knowledge in contract management, Karen has expanded her HR development while working within various industries. Karen holds the CIPD Level 5 qualification in Human Resource Management and is currently studying towards her CIPD Level 7 qualification in Employment Law.
John qualified as a dentist from Leeds in 1980 and has worked mostly in general dental practice throughout his career. He has been involved with the politics of dentistry at both local and national level serving as LDC secretary for many years and more recently as Chair. At national level John has been a member of the General Dental Practice Committee of the BDA and was Chair from 2009-2015. Since April 2015 John has been the Senior National Dental Advisor to the CQC.
Amit Rai is a General Dental Practitioner with a Dento-Legal background. A former GDC Fitness to Practice Committee Member and Dental Adviser. He is currently a senior advisor to CODE.
