In the morning your trainer will introduce you to the latest scientific background on the use of botulinum toxin and explain the most effective techniques. The differences between Botox, Vistabel, Dysport and Xeomin will be explored with a guide to the reconstitution and dosages that would be used for each. The trainer will then demonstrate the techniques on a patient. Following this demonstration you will have the opportunity to treat one of your own patients that you have brought along to the course for this purpose. Advice is also given on insurance, marketing and the legal aspects of advertising and providing botulinum toxin type A treatment.
You will have the opportunity to watch your colleagues treat their patients with a range of different techniques. Delegates will have the chance to see forehead, frown lines and crow's feet, the commonest three areas of treatment.
A folder with all of the presentation slides is provided, which also contains information on insurance and consent. This compliance information is supplied by CODE Academy.
Each delegate receives a certificate of attendance; this is used to obtain professional indemnity as well as to verify the CPD credits. You can bring along members of staff for just £195, who can watch the whole day and will thus be able to talk to patients about the benefits and potential side effects of this exciting medical skin treatment.
CODE members receive 5% discount and there is also a 5% 'early bird' discount if you book 6 weeks or more in advance.
