New HTM 01-05 and Sharps Instruments in Healthcare Regulations The DH has released the 2013 edition of Health Technical Memorandum 01-05: Decontamination in primary care dental practices. At the same time HSE has released the Sharps Instruments in Healthcare Regulations 2013. These two releases bring a number of connected new requirements. The good news is that CODE has already updated the management modules, and in particular the modules in the infection prevention and control section to take into account of these two new requirements.
