The CODE Academy offers you an opportunity to receive FREE hands-on training provided you can find 5 colleagues to attend the course at your practice. Additionally, you can bring along a staff member who will not be certified to provide the treatment but will learn about it to enable him/her to talk to patients ad assist you.
The normal delegate fee for a full day of training in botulinum toxin or dermal fillers is £695. We offer it to your colleagues at a reduced fee of £650 per delegate.
The minimum number of hands-on delegates is 6 including you, the maximum can be 8. If you find 2 extra delegates above the minimum 6, we will pay you a commission of £100 per delegate up to a maximum of £200.
To enable us to run the course at your practice you will also need to organise a receptionist and the catering. We will pay £10 per person for catering for the day. If the trainer does not bring own nurse to assist him during the day, we will contribute £90 to cover the cost of your nurse’s time.
Below is the draft training programme:
- 8.30 am – Registration, refreshments
- 9.00 am – Trainer’s presentation on the science, products and techniques
- 11.30 am – Coffee break, refreshments
- 11.50 am – Trainer’s presentation and hands-on demo on a model
- 1.00 pm – Buffet lunch
- 1.30 pm – Delegates’ hands-on experience – they will treat own patients under supervision
- 3.00 pm – Tea/coffee break
- 3.15 pm – Delegates’ hands-on experience
- 5 to 5.30pm – Self certification test and certification
Note: Delegates will be expected to provide their own model, such as a relative, friend or non-paying patient. Patient selection criteria, indications, contraindications and consent forms will be provided.
Usually, hands-on courses in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers are held on consecutive days, mainly on Saturday and Sunday, however, it is possible to run each course on separate weekends or possibly on week day.
Once you have provisionally agreed with your colleagues the day of the training, ask them to contact the office with their payment details. We will confirm the date of the training once payments from all delegates have been received.
