Overview
It is estimated that CODE members spend £125 on dental materials per dental chair per week. With 1500 practices and an average of 2.5 chairs this amounts to an annual spend of £22m per year. This is spent across a number of suppliers on products by a range of manufacturers.
If members are prepared to buy from preferred manufacturers through a preferred dealer CODE will be able to negotiate exceptional deals for members, giving individual practices the buying power of the large corporate chains, which will result in low prices, exclusive promotions and cash rebates.
Cost of branded products
Dental products have increased in cost by about 21% last year primarily due to the fall in sterling against the Euro and other currencies, but also due to regular price increases by the main manufacturers. This has a direct impact on the profit of practices, that’s why CODE is so keen to bring down prices.
Getting the best deal
Once we have negotiated with the main dental companies, we will enter into negotiations for utilities, insurance, maintenance and even advertising.
