Care Quality Commission Registration - Prepare now
NHS providers in England can pre-register on the Care Quality Commission website when they receive the invitation letter from the CQC during the second week of September. Private practices won't be sent a letter by post, but should visit the CQC website and download the invitation letter from the second week of September when it becomes available. Those who pre-register in September can apply in November and others can apply in December. If you have not applied by the 31st December the CQC will not guarantee that your application will be considered in time for Registration in April 2011. If a provider is not registered by April 2011 they will be trading illegally.
